(14.12.2011) Ecoprint is a socially responsible company.

According to this year’s evaluation, Ecoprint scored 78.3 points of 100, which put it in 10th place on the Estonian CSR Index list. A total of 58 companies and two public agencies participated in the study. 27 of them earned 70 or more points.

To a major degree, Ecoprint's social responsibility is consistently evident in its environmental friendliness. However, equal attention is paid to the sustainable management of the company, the well-being of the staff, customer satisfaction and the involvement of interest groups. Also, reducing the ecological footprint of the company continues to be one of our primary goals. Among other things, we have decided to support voluntary initiatives and make our contribution to social projects.

The top 10 companies of the Estonian Corporate Social Responsibility Index, among them Ecoprint, received an ethical gift from the Responsible Business Forum. Namely, a café that Estonians are going to open in Uganda at the initiative of MTÜ Mondo and that is going to employ disabled people, will have chairs bearing the names of the top ten socially responsible Estonian companies. This gift symbolises the fact that all kinds of business activities have an impact and effect on an international scale as well. The CSR Index is based on a voluntary self-assessment questionnaire completed by participating companies. This year, the questionnaire and its results were evaluated by the experts of Ernst&Young.
